Guerrillas Of Destiny Defeat The Young Bucks To Become The New IWGP Tag Team Champions

They have done it!

The civil war between the Elite side of Bullet Club and the OG's of Bullet Club has been on-going for the greater portion of 2018. The lines between the two groups have been drawn and it is clear who is on which side of the faction. Tonight at 'Fighting Spirit Unleashed' the war between the two sides continued as Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa challenged The Young Bucks for the IWGP Tag Team Championships.

The Elite: We're Getting AEW Back To What It Was Supposed To Be

Tama Tanga, Tanga Loa and Taiji Ishimori took the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championships from the The Young Bucks and Marty Scurll on the final night of G1 Climax 28 tournament action and were looking to take gold away from the possession of The Young Bucks again tonight.

It was a valiant effort from The Young Bucks but the story of Matt Jackson's back being "injured" played a role in this match and the sly Guerrillas Of Destiny capitalized on that to guide them to victory and to become four-time holders of the IWGP Tag Team Championships and unlike how they tossed the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Titles upon winning them, G.O.D. celebrated winning championship gold and did not hold back their excitement.
