Gunther To Defend IC Title Against Xavier Woods, Women's Tag Title Bout, More Set For 4/21 WWE SmackDown

Multiple title bouts announced for next Friday's WWE SmackDown.

WWE announced that Gunther will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Xavier Woods on the April 21 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Woods defeated LA Knight on Friday's SmackDown and then interrupted a promo from Imperium (Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, & Giovanni Vinci) backstage. Gunther challenged Woods, who agreed as long as the title was on the line.

Plus, Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan will defend their Women's Tag Team Titles against Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green. Deville & Green interrupted the championship celebration on Friday's SmackDown.

Finally, Braun Strowman & Ricochet, looking for revenge after a backstage attack, will team against The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar).
