On the December 5th edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, LA Knight and Gunther would face off in the finals of the tournament to decide who would face John Cena at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th, with the former two time World Heavyweight Champion earning the victory over Knight to set up a clash between he and the 17 time WWE World Champion.
While speaking in a new video he posted to social media, Gunther would send a message to Cena ahead of their match, noting that Cena will give up for good in his final match.
“Did you see that? I told you to pay attention. At Saturday Night’s Main Event my friend, you will give up. You’ll tap! You will give up for good!”
