Gunther Joins WWE SmackDown

Gunther joins WWE SmackDown.

Last week, Gunther showed up on the blue brand to attack Cody Rhodes, following the latter’s match against Ricky Saints.

On the 5/9 edition of WWE SmackDown, the wrestler showed up on the brand alongside Paul Heyman. It was then revealed that he’s now officially joined the SmackDown roster.

He was also given a contract to sign, which was later revealed to be an Undisputed WWE Title match at Clash in Italy. But then, Cody Rhodes’ music hit, and he started making his way to the ring.

This upset Gunther, who claimed this was his moment, and he left without signing the contract.
