Gunther defeated John Cena in Cena’s last match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
Gunther tapped out Cena in the main event, marking the first time Cena has tapped out in over 20 years. Cena tapped to a sleeper hold after trying to fight it off for minutes.
On Sunday, Gunther took to Instagram to post a simple message:
“Pro wrestling > sports entertainment”

In the lead up to the match, “The Ring General” called Cena the greatest sports entertainer, but referred to himself as the greatest pro wrestler.
