Gzim Selmani (Rezar) Recalls Incident With Wyatt Sicks Member Prior To WWE Release

In February 2025, WWE released Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) for the second time in their careers. They were aligned with Karrion Kross as the Final Testament.
The group had been off television for months prior to their release.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani, Rezar recalled an incident with the Wyatt Sicks that may have had something to do with their release.
“There was an incident, very unprofessional from one of those guys, I don’t know their names. I don’t want to go into it too deeply. There was an incident on one of the holiday tours that we did. Somebody tried to switch up the match during the match and that’s just a no go for me, especially if you’ve just been in the company for a little bit and we were already there for a long time. You don’t do that. I just had to let somebody know and that was the end of it,” he said.
He continued, “They tried to switch up the match in the middle of the match. I’m a professional. Even if I have to take a beating in the wrestling ring, I do it, and if you’re going to be a scared little bitch then it’s not my fault. I will let you know backstage.
“It was certain moves that we did. Some of the guys, they didn’t want to take it because we’re big guys. If we lift you up and double spinebuster somebody five days in a row, then the sixth night, somebody can complain, but don’t change it during the match.”
Asked if the argument backstage was the end of it, and if that was fair, Rezar replied, “Yes. It happened. I’m okay with it.”
Rezar did not name the Wyatt Sicks member who tried to change the match.
Rezar is now in bare-knuckle fighting. He scored a KO victory in his first fight.
