Hacksaw Jim Duggan talks about working with Randy Orton and his father Bob.
Throughout Duggan’s storied career, he worked with several generations of wrestling families and previously wrestled Orton in several matches, including a live event bout between the pair in 2006.
While speaking to Bill Apter in a new interview, Hacksaw Jim Duggan was asked about working with Randy Orton, with Duggan joking about doing a job for Randy as The Legend Killer.
“Superstar. Well, he was a legend killer. So you know I was going to do a job for him, brother.”
In addition to speaking about Randy, Hacksaw also briefly spoke about his father Bob Orton.
“I worked with Bob when he was running around with Piper, you know, and of course Dusty and I had a whole lot of work together, and Theodore DiBiase. Ted DiBiase may be the greatest technical wrestler in the sport, but he can’t fight a lick, and when you’re in there with a hacksaw, it’s a fight.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Duggan spoke about wrestling body Cody and Dusty Rhodes throughout his career. You can read more about that here.
