Cincinnati made an effort to host WWE SummerSlam.
WWE SummerSlam 2024 will emenate from Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on August 3.
According to Hamilton County Administrator Jeff Alutto (via Ben Baby), the Cincinnati Bengals made an effort to have WWE SummerSlam hosted at Paycor Stadium.
"They did reach out several times. They said they didn’t call back."
Paycor Stadium is the home of the Bengals.
WWE announced Cleveland as the host city for WWE SummerSlam on March 12. The announcement was made by WWE United States Champion and Cleveland native Logan Paul.
No matches have been announced for the event.
Fightful Select reported in October 2023 that Cleveland was the likely location for the event.
