Hangman Page Says He Was Nearly Detained At The Border Ahead Of 2/15 AEW Dynamite

Hangman Page nearly ran into some issues before AEW Dynamite on Wednesday.

AEW Dynamite was live in Laredo, Texas on Wednesday, and before he got to the building, Hangman Page seemed to make a wrong turn somewhere as he ended up at a border crossing and was nearly detained.

"I almost got detained at the border last night. I might have ended up in Mexico by accident, I still don't know, but I had to go through a border crossing. Someone in the car, who is not an American citizen, didn't have their passport. I flew into San Antonio and drove two and a half hours to Laredo because Laredo would have been three flights and that's too many. If you're from Laredo, you tell me how I went through a border crossing without crossing the border, I don't know. We almost got detained, but I'm here. I'm not in prison or Mexico," Hangman said during a Highspots signing.

Fortunately, Hangman Page was able to make it to AEW Dynamite. He picked up a victory over Kip Sabian on the show and agreed to face Jon Moxley in a Texas Deathmatch at AEW Revolution.

Elsewhere during the signing, Hangman gave his thoughts on MJF. You can find his comments by clicking here.
