Hangman Page reflects on his journey with Swerve Strickland. Strickland helped Page defeat Jon Moxley and win the AEW World Title. Now, the longtime rivals can potentially start a new era of mutual respect and understanding.

Hangman Page was asked about his relationship with Swerve Strickland during the AEW All In media scrum. Raj Prashad of Yahoo asked Page about Swerve, and the new champion said he’s glad to move on from his tenuous past with Swerve.

“I’m going to have to think about that for a long time before I know an answer. He ruined my life for so long. I did the same to him. Tonight, he chose on his own to make my life better. I don’t know if that is for me, I don’t know if it’s for this company, or I don’t know if it’s for himself. I might never really figure that out. It does feel good to be able to let go a little bit of the past and be excited about the future.”
