Hangman Page vs. Adam Cole Set To Main Event AEW Revolution 2022

The AEW World Title match will close AEW Revolution.

During the AEW Revolution 2022 media call, Tony Khan confirmed that the plan as of now is for Hangman Page vs. Adam Cole to main event the pay-per-view on Sunday.

Spoiler: First-Ever WWE Speed Champion Crowned

"There are a lot of main events on this card, anything on the show could main event it. In this case, Hangman has worked a really long time and that's been a story fans have followed for a long time and now Adam Cole is the top contender. I believe Hangman's match quality, bar none, I would have no exception to this since he won the title, nobody has had better matches. The two matches he had with Bryan Danielson and the Texas Deathmatch with Lance Archer have been three of the best matches we've had in the company since he won the title, if not the single best three matches since he won the title. I'm going to give him that spot and Adam Cole that spot and ask them to go out and have a great match as best they can," said Khan.

Tony put over the depth of the card, noting that Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston vs. Chris Jericho, CM Punk vs. MJF, and Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa could all serve as the main event.

"It's probably the most challenging card to put an order on that I've ever had. In this case, I am planning for Hangman vs. Cole to go out there last," he said.
