Hangman Page says that the Young Bucks have been assholes lately and feels he should reach out to Kenny Omega.
AEW was built on the relationships The Elite created with one another and with wrestling fans. Hangman Page, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson, Kenny Omega, and Cody Rhodes all started AEW together, and over time, their on-screen relationship has seen its peaks and valleys. Rhodes went to do his own thing in WWE, and the relationship between the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Adam Page is currently tense. In fact, the Jacksons will be on opposite sides of the ring from Kenny Omega in Anarchy in the Arena at AEW Double or Nothing 2025.
During an interview with Variety ahead of the event, Page commented on the Young Bucks' recent actions and said that he should probably reach out to Omega soon and isn't sure why he hasn't already.
“Yeah, the Bucks have been assholes lately, huh? I’ll be careful with how I say this. I feel like I’ve always tried to be careful with how I approach talking about them, because I do owe so much of my career to them, always will, and I’ll always be aware of that. But I do think they may have misunderstood where my mind is currently at.
“I don’t know whether to take that as a slight and intentional, or as an honest mistake, but they have absolutely been assholes to Kenny, I will say that. I haven’t followed up with Kenny since he’s been back, maybe in the way that I should. Maybe that’s something I can do, and I know that I should do it sooner rather than later. I don’t know why I haven’t.”
At AEW Revolution 2020, Page and Omega wrestled against Matt and Nick Jackson in a classic match. For now, Hangman is focused on singles success and earning his way into the main event of AEW All In: Texas with a victory over Will Ospreay at Double or Nothing.
