Hard Times At Chase U, Tensions Rise Between Lyra Valkyria And Roxanne Perez | NXT Fight Size

Here's your fight size update following NXT on January 23, 2024.

- Chase U’s downfall continued, as repo men took their stuff, and the students left. Andre Chase said he’d have nothing left, as everything he built was being torn down. He said they would say their goodbyes next week.

Report: Steve Corino Re-Signs With WWE

- NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez signed the contract for their title match at NXT Vengeance Day. Tensions rose, as the two stars went back and forth on the microphone.

- Taxtum Paxley slammed Roxanne Perez through a table.

- Joe Gacy attacked Dijak ahead of their match, and they brawled at ringside. Gacy hit him with a chair. The brawl continued, and Gacy went crashing through part of the stage. Dijak then slammed Gacy through the broadcast table. They kept fighting until they were separated.

- Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin defeated Nathan Frazer and Axiom to advance to the finals of the NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

- William Regal returned and announced that Ava was the new General Manager of NXT.

- Dragon Lee faced SCRYPTS. OTM interfered, but Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo came out to even the odds. Lee scored the win.

- NXT North American Champion Oba Femi agreed to face Dragon Lee at NXT Vengeance Day.

- Lola Vice was Noam Dar’s guest on the Supernova Sessions. She explained why she turned on Elektra Lopez. Lopez interrupted and took some shots at Vice. She said she didn’t want to wait for their match next week, and they brawled.

- Lexis King battled Trey Bearhill and scored the win.

- Lash Legend faced Wren Sinclair. Legend scored the win. Fallon Henley made the save after the match.

- Josh Briggs confronted NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov. Trick Williams got involved, setting the stage for a match with Briggs later in the show.

- Von Wagner visited his “old stomping grounds at UFC”, as Mr. Stone helped him train. Wagner continued to target Noam Dar.

- Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo sent a message to OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price). WWE announced a mixed six-person tag team match between the teams for NXT Vengeance Day.

- Carmelo Hayes caught up with Trick Williams, and they discussed Trick’s upcoming match against Ilja Dragunov.

- Blair Davenport defeated Karmen Petrovic.

- Trick Williams faced Josh Briggs. During the match, Josh Briggs accidentally collided with Ilja Dragunov, who was on commentary. Williams scored the win, as Carmelo Hayes attacked Dragunov. Hayes and Williams argued after the bell.

- Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes continued to argue.
