Harvey Wippleman Says He's A Washed-Up Guy Who Jumps Through Hoops For Millionaires... And Loves It!

You can always count on Harvey.

Harvey Wippleman is many things, a former manager, a former women's champion oh, and a former referee. However, if you ask him, he'll tell you he's just an errand boy for millionaires and he couldn't be happier.

Speaking as a guest on the WWE After The Bell podcast, Wippleman, aka Bruno Lauer, opened up about how he has remained helpful behind the scenes of WWE for many years.

“If I want to stand here, maybe put a tie and suit, I'd say, 'I'm the concierge of WWE...' I'm the washed-up guy that runs errands for everybody and I jump through hoops for millionaires and I don't care. I love it,” said Harvey. “You know what? I love what I do now more than I ever loved managing, wrestling, [or] refereeing, I love what I do now. I enjoy it. We could be in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the middle of the winter and they say, 'we need a surfboard. We got a guy coming in, we're gonna call him 'The Surfer' and we need a surfboard. Nobody can find a surfboard.' I'll be back in 20 minutes and I'll be back with a surfboard. That's what I do. I had a lot of small things too. 'This top guy, his suitcase got delayed by the airlines. Would you go to the airport and get it?' Sure. 'This guy forgot something in his hotel room. Can you go get it?' Because, you know, everybody trusts me, I'm happy to do whatever I can for anybody.”

Harvey Wippleman would also say on the podcast that his favorite WWE moment is managing Sid in the main event of WrestleMania 8 against Hulk Hogan.
