Heavy Machinery Explain The Origin Of Their Tag Team Name

Heavy Machinery might not be a team anymore, but Otis and Tucker remain brothers off-screen.

The duo were put together in 2016, going but the names Niko Bogojevic & Tucker Knight. Niko soon became Otis Dozovic and the duo finally became Heavy Machinery.

Janel Grant Files Motion To Strike Vince McMahon's Preliminary Statement

"We had these Performance Center shows, just testing things out and seeing what's on camera. You're just wrestling in front of your peers and coaches. Kayla Braxton came in for the post-match interview and was like, 'What do we call you two hunk of men?' 'HEAVY MACHINERY!' I said something else, but I can't remember what I said, and it just clicked. The meaning of Heavy Machinery was just two big guys who could go and never stopped coming. It was not supposed to be Heavy Machinery, but four months after that, we were officially named Heavy Machinery," said Otis on Table Talk

Unfortunately, Otis and Tucker were split in the 2020 WWE Draft with Tucker moving to Raw and Otis remaining on SmackDown.

However, they got around the rules by having Otis come out as El Gran Gordo on Raw to defeat The Miz & John Morrison.
