Hechicero Credits Bryan Danielson Match For Changing His Career Trajectory

Hechicero reflects on his match with Bryan Danielson.

Back in February 2024, ‘The American Dragon’ and the ‘Mad Scientist’ competed in a singles match on AEW Collision. This bout put Hechicero on the map for a ton of AEW fans and is widely considered to be one of the best matches of his career.

Speaking with The Takedown on Sports Illustrated, Hechicero himself noted that there has been a big difference in his career since that match.

“If we talk about that match with Bryan Danielson until now, there is a big difference in my career. There are new challenges, there are new goals, there are new victories, new arrivals, etc. There is a big difference in my career, but for sure, that match helped a lot to grow up. I’m still growing up and I also want to make history with this double contract and I’m ready for what’s up next.”
