Hechicero vs. Zack Sabre Jr. To Be Title Match, More Added To CMLL x NJPW Lucha Kingdom
Zack Sabre Jr. versus Hechicero is a title match.
November 16th is the date of CMLL x NJPW Lucha Kingdom at Arena Mexico. Three new matches have been added to the show lineup and one of those bouts is Zack Sabre Jr. and Hechicero’s match will now be a CMLL World Heavyweight Title bout.
Below is NJPW’s write-up about the bout:
“After Zack Sabre Jr. issued a challenge to Hechicero backstage at King of Pro-Wrestling, and Hechicero defended his CMLL World Heavyweight title against Liam Slater in the UK, this is now officially a CMLL World Heavyweight Championship match. At CMLL’s Anniversary card in September, Sabre challenged for Hechicero’s title as part of a three way match with Claudio Castagnoli; ‘El Conjuro’ retained, but with ZSJ not involved in the decision. Will Sabre become the first British holder of the CMLL Heavyweight gold?”
Joining the lineup is a singles match between Soberano Jr. and Shota Umino, plus an eight-man tag featuring Zandokan Jr., Difunto, Barboza, and Furia Roja versus KUSHIDA, Black Tiger, Yutani, and Shoma Kato.
