Hideo Itami has confirmed it: He's out of the Dusty Rhodes tag team classic.
Itami announced that he's hurt and may also miss NXT Takeover: Toronto, but pledged he would be at NXT's Osaka event in December.
Itami was injured two weeks ago while teaming with Shinsuke Nakamura taking on Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli. Itami took a powerslam awkwardly and landed on his head. He's not wrestled since.
Hideo Itami was sidelined for well over a year after suffering a shoulder injury in the spring of 2015. He returned earlier this year.
