Hikaru Shida Wins TBS Championship On AEW Dynamite
Hikaru Shida is the new TBS Champion.
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was capped off with a Survival Of The Fittest match for the vacant TBS Championship. Harley Cameron, Queen Aminata, Persephone, Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida, and Maika all took part in the match.
The first elimination came early, with Persephone eliminating Harley Cameron after delivering a powerbomb from the top rope.

A few minutes later, Hikaru Shida eliminated Maika with a unique pin attempt. After that, Persephone took Queen Aminata out of the match with a rollup of her own.

Persephone got a taste of her own medicine next, as she was eliminated from the match via a sit-down pin from Statlander. She didn’t take the loss lightly, instead choosing to hit Statlander with the TBS Championship. Shida took advantage of the situation, making Statlander pass out in a submission to win the title.

This is Shida’s first championship reign in AEW since 2023, when she won the AEW Women’s World Championship for the third time. That reign lasted only 39 days.
