Hikaru Shida will cash in on being the number one contender when she faces Nyla Rose for the AEW Women's Title at Double or Nothing.
Shida solidified her spot as the top contender on AEW Dynamite when she defeated Dr. Britt Baker, Kris Statlander, and Penelope Ford in a fatal four-way match. While Baker had Statlander locked in the Lockjaw at ringside, Shida hit a knee strike on Ford in the ring to secure the victory.
After the bout, AEW confirmed that Shida would challenge Rose on May 23 for the title and it will be contested under No DQ rules.
