Hikaru Shida Competes In First AEW Match Since November 2024 On AEW Collision
Hikaru Shida made her return to AEW on Collision.
Willow Nightingale issued an open challenge for the AEW TBS Title on Thursday’s open challenge. The challenge was answered by former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida, competing in her first AEW bout since November 2024.
Nightingale was victorious in the match, retaining her title.
After the bout, Shida teased hitting Nightingale with the singapore cane, but ultimately did not.

While Shida has been off AEW TV, she has remained active in Japan. This was her first match in 2026. Her last match took place at OZ Academy Sonoko Kato Retirement ~ Final Blue Dragon in November 2025.
