This year also represented a year of growth for the division. Up next for Shida, she will defend the championship against red Baker at this year's double Or Nothing event. Before that, however, AEW has promised a celebration of her year as champion on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite which will take place on Friday, May 28, 2021, beginning at 10 p.m. eastern time.

Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite and have on-location coverage of Double Or Nothing.
