Hikaru Shida: I Hope Britt Baker Will Be In The Women's Title Match At AEW All In, It's A Big Moment

Hikaru Shida hopes Britt Baker will be one of her challengers at AEW All In.

At AEW All In, Shida will defend the AEW Women's World Championship in a four-way match. Shida clinched her spot in the bout by retaining the gold on the August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite. Toni Storm had an automatic bye, as she was owed a rematch after Shida dethroned her on the August 2 episode of AEW Dynamite.

In an interview with Denise Salcedo, Shida was asked about the upcoming title match, and she expressed her hope that Britt Baker will be part of it.

“I really hope Britt Baker [is] going to be there. Because like I said, this is the biggest show in our history, and me and Britt Baker [were] members from the very beginning, so we are original. We are not friends, but I feel something special connecting with Britt Baker. I know how she feels, standing at Wembley Stadium. She wrestled from the very first pay-per-view, and this is the big moment for us, for AEW. I really know the feeling, so I hope she is there," Shida said.

Baker previously best Shida to win the AEW Women's World Championship at AEW Double or Nothing 2021.
