Hikaru Shida Was Backstage At 1/21 AEW Dynamite

Shida was backstage at Dynamite.

There were a number of notable names backstage for AEW Dynamite in Orlando, Florida, on January 21st. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select revealed another one of those names to be Hikaru Shida.

It was noted that Shida lives in the area and was visiting.

Hikaru Shida was backstage at this week’s AEW Dynamite taping in Orlando, @FightfulSelect confirmed.

We’re told she was visiting, as she lives in the Orlando area.

Shida is a three-time AEW Women’s World Champion and has been with the company since its launch in 2019. She is still the longest-reigning AEW Women’s World Champion with 372 days during her first reign.

Shida has not wrestled for AEW since November 2024. She has been working shows in Japan.
