Hirooki Goto: At Wrestle Kingdom 20, I’d Like To Fight Anybody That Jumped Over From NJPW To AEW, Including Katsuyori Shibata

Goto is asked who he wants to face at The Dome.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling is several months out from Wrestle Kingdom 20 at the Tokyo Dome. As of this writing, EVIL versus Aaron Wolf, in addition to Hiroshi Tanahashi’s final match, are advertised for the show.

Wrestle Kingdom 20 became a topic of conversation during Planeta Wrestling’s interview with Hirooki Goto. The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion was asked who he would like to share the ring with at the Tokyo Dome, and here was his response:

“My first goal is to become champion again. That’s top priority for me. Then at the Tokyo Dome, I’d like to fight anybody that jumped over from here to AEW. That includes Shibata.”

Goto is looking to become a two-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. He is challenging Konosuke Takeshita for the title at Hiroshi Tanahashi’s Homecoming show on November 2nd.
