Hirooki Goto Retains IWGP World Heavyweight Title At NJPW Resurgence, Will Defend Against Shingo Takagi At NJPW Dominion

Hirooki Goto retained the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at NJPW Resurgence. However, he did so on a technicality.

The match's finish came when former champion Zach Sabre Jr pinned the champion with a bridge, but because both men's shoulders were down, it constituted a double pin and a successful retention on a draw.
