Hirooki Goto Speaks About Recovery From Injury, Says His Arm Is Now 100 Percent
Goto is back in the mix.
Over the summer, Hirooki Goto went down with an injury that did not permit him to compete in the NJPW G1 Climax 35 tournament.
Goto returned to in-ring action for the first time at NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling on 10/13. He opened up about his recovery while speaking to Planeta Wrestling.
“The recovery process was hard work, but it was a complete success. The arm is 100% now.
It was a real shame not to be in the G1 though. I think there were a lot of fans who wanted to see me catch up to the most G1 entries streak, so to have that stop was a shame.”
While Goto was out of action, he filmed his role as E. Honda in the live-action Street Fighter movie. To read his thoughts about the filming, head over to this link.
