Hiroshi Tanahashi interrupts the confrontation between Shota Umino and Jon Moxley.
Some time back, Pac challenged NJPW’s Shota Umino for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship. Shota accepted, and the bout was made official for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
Shota delivered some hard-hitting moves to Pac throughout this match. Towards the end, Shota delivered a Northern Lights Bomb to Pac for the victory.

After the match ended, Jon Moxley entered the ring to confront Shota. Moxley and Shota have previously worked in NJPW, where they had a mentor-protege relationship. Before things could escalate between these two, Hiroshi Tanahashi appeared, and Moxley left the ring.
