Hiroshi Tanahashi Says He’s Getting A Haircut, ‘I’m Going To Cut The Back Of My Hair Competely Off’

Hiroshi Tanahashi is living that retirement lifestyle after wrapping up his career at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20.
Though he’s still the President of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, fans will no longer see his flocks flow as he goes to the top rope and flies high.
Speaking at the Tokyo Sports Awards, Tanahashi revealed that he plans on getting a haircut now that he’s retired.
“I have a little time off next week, so, I’m going to get a haircut over the weekend. I’m going to cut the back of my hair completely off. I’ll just become the cool older guy,” he said.
A true end of an era.
After his retirement match, a loss to Kazuchika Okada, Tanahashi published an open letter to fans. You can read the letter by clicking here.
