Hulk Hogan is all for Titan Training, brother.
The third part of an interview Hogan did with Eric Bischoff was released this week on the Bischoff On Wrestling podcast. The former WWE, TNA and WCW star talked about WWE putting guys like AJ Styles and Bobby Roode through Titan Training, basically putting the finishing touches on newly acquired talent that are making the transition to the company.
“The weirdest thing is it’s like when my daughter used to sing and when she was doing shows all the time. She sang in front of 300 people. There was a labor of love there. All of a sudden when she got in front of 3,000 people, or in Daytona in front of 100,000 people at the raceway, it gets easier the more people you get to perform in front of. Such as guys that come from the independent scene and wind up in WWE,” Hogan said.
And that type of training is similar to what the WWE World Champion is going through.
“While AJ is getting his ‘Titan Training’ right now he’s really going to be able to relax. When you’re on TV and you’re in the main event of the PPV there’s a certain amount of, ‘I have to have my act together.’ There’s a certain amount of tension. That also comes with also being able to relax a lot more. You perform better when everything is already done for you. The lighting, the entrance, the building is already sold out… you already know it’s going to be there when you get to the ring. You don’t have to dig for ten minutes to get things right because when the bell rings it’s already there,” Hogan said.
