HollyHood Haley J Comments On WWE Tryout, Says WWE Is Still The Ultimate Goal

WWE held tryouts in Orlando at the WWE Performance Center in September with independent and up-and-coming talent taking part of the tryout.

HollyHood Haley J was reportedly listed as participating in the tryout, but it was later reported by Fightful Select that she was pulled from the WWE tryouts due to reasons related to medical paperwork, per WWE and OVW sources. Fightful Select was told that WWE is hopeful that they can get her in the future.

Speaking on Ringside Podcast, Haley J was asked how "Wrestlers" on Netflix has changed her life when she mentioned her WWE tryout.

"Well, if you haven't seen my social media, it's been up there. I'm getting a bunch of followers. Getting a bunch of bookings. Some out of the country bookings, that's cool. A lot of people ordering merch. Almost sold out of all of my merch. Got me a little try out, it didn't fall through, that will come back around. It got me new friends," she said.

No further details or comments were given by her regarding her tryout status. She just noted at one point, "It's all over the internet."

Later in the interview, Haley was asked about her ultimate goals in wrestling.

"The ultimate goal is obviously WWE. I'm trying to wrestle at WrestleMania, become champ, top dog. Anywhere I go, I make my way to the top. I just have to get there. That's the goal. Be champ, wrestle at WrestleMania, then I can retire," she said.

Haley J became one of the most talked about wrestlers following the premiere of "Wrestlers" on Netflix.

She is the reigning OVW Women's Champion.
