Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai and IYO SKY were able to defeat Tegan Nox and Liv Morgan to retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions on December 16.

While they typically get help from Bayley, the leader of Damage CTRL, this time Bayley watched from the sidelines as a hooded figure, attacked Tegan Nox from the crowd, allowing IYO to deliver the moonsault for the victory.

In a WWE digital exclusive, the hooded individual was revealed to be Xia Li. Li has not been featured on WWE TV since November 11 when she lost as part of a Six-Pack Challenge to Ronda Rousey. It is currently not known whether she's actually affiliated with Damage CTRL.

Dakota Kai previously stated that the original idea for the group was a foursome with one of the women that she fought against tonight, Tegan Nox. Learn more here.
