The House of Black got the better of Adam Copeland, Eddie Kingston, and Mark Briscoe at AEW Dynasty.
Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Brody King defeated the reigning TNT Champion, ROH World Champion, and NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion in a Trios Match at the inaugural AEW Dynasty event when Malakai Black countered Adam Copeland's Spear by misting him in the face and delivering the Black Mass Roundhouse Kick to score a victory over the current AEW TNT Champion.
With Copeland having suffered a non-title defeat, Black has now potentially put himself in line for a future championship opportunity.
