Hulk Hogan: I Missed The Memo On The "Fake" Part Of Pro Wrestling

Hulk Hogan has the injuries to show pro wrestling is real.

Speaking to the Tampa Bay Times following the WrestleMania 36 press conference, Hogan was asked about his future in WWE.

?I?m not really sure," stated Hogan. "I can?t wrestle anymore because nine back surgeries, two fake knees, two fake hips. ? I?ve had 17 surgeries in the last ten years. I kinda missed the memo on the ?fake? part [of wrestling] ? Vince [McMahon] has this master plan. And I don?t mind being the hood ornament, and I don?t mind being the Babe Ruth of the promotion, but Vince is putting together a whole new thing. ? I still feel like I?m 20 in my head, but my body?s telling me, ?Easy, brother.? I?m not sure what the title is, but hopefully really soon I?ll be back and really, really active.?

Hogan was released from his WWE contract in July 2015 after tapes leaked of him using racist language. He was brought back to the company in July 2018, showing up at Extreme Rules to issue an apology to the WWE locker room. He returned to WWE television this past November at Crown Jewel. He showed up on the Jan. 7 episode of Raw to honor the late "Mean" Gene Okerlund. WWE has yet to announce Hogan's next WWE appearance.

WrestleMania 36 is scheduled to take place on April 5, 2020 from Tampa, Florida.
