Hulk Hogan has high praise for Randy Orton.

Hulk Hogan and Randy Orton faced off in a featured attraction bout at the 2006 WWE SummerSlam event. It was Hulk Hogan's last official bout under the WWE banner. Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Hogan praised Orton's evolution and said that if he still could wrestle, he believes he and Randy Orton could tear it down in the main event.

“If I wasn’t all beat to hell, I’d love to get in the ring with Randy,” said Hogan. “We could still tear it down in the main event. Randy could call it in the ring, and he could adjust to my style to make sure it worked perfectly. He’s just so good. He can work with veterans and the newer guys, too. “He understands wrestling in a way very few do. That’s why he is making masterpieces in the ring.”

Randy Orton recently returned after 18 months away from the ring. He currently has his sights set on Roman Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

Much like many of the legends from Hulk Hogan's era, Orton says he feels like he got a second lease on his wrestling career and he never plans on transitioning away from the wrestling world. Read more here.
