‘Hulk Hogan: Real American’ Director Says He Reached Out To Brooke Hogan About Appearing The Documentary

A four-part documentary on the life and career of Hulk Hogan is now out on Netflix. “Real American” covers Hogan’s upbringing, rise in wrestling, and personal downfalls.
While many peers and family members appear in the documentary, Brooke Hogan, Hogan’s daughter, is noticeably absent.
Appearing on Ham Radio Show, director Bryan Storkel was asked about Brooke not being part of the documentary.
“I would have loved to talk to her. At the time we filmed with Hulk, he hadn’t spoken to her for a couple of years. I talked to him about Brooke, and he clearly loved her and cared about her, and was heartbroken. I don’t know what all happened there, but I did reach out to her a couple of times and she didn’t respond. I think if she wanted to be part of it, she could’ve. I don’t know the details of what went wrong between them, but it was sad for me to realize that she wasn’t going to be part of helping to tell her dad’s story.
“She’s said now that she wasn’t interested, and that’s fine. I respect her for that. I never want to push anyone too hard to be part of something they don’t want to be in. That’s their choice.”
Brooke said that the documentary is missing 98% of critical real-life information. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
