Hulk Hogan Says He Regrets Not Letting The Elderly Woman Slap Him On WCW Nitro

Hogan wishes he could have that moment back.

During the 90's Hulk Hogan traded in his red and yellow for the black and blue to join forces with future WWE Hall Of Famers Scott Hall and Kevin Nash and together they formed the n.W.o. Hogan, Nash and Hall added a number of members to group throughout the years but the core of the group was always the original three. One clip that is constantly making the rounds on social media in relation to the n.W.o. is when an elderly woman attempted to slap Hulk Hogan during an episode of WCW Monday Nitro in 1997.

As the elderly woman swung on Hogan he moved his head back but the former 6-time WWF World Heavyweight Champion stated that he wished he hadn't moved so he could sell the slap. Hogan recently joined Bill Apter on the 'Apter Chat' podcast and stated that it was one moment from his career he will always regret because he did not stand there and take the slap.

“The biggest mistake I made that day - you know and I forget my Memphis days. The biggest mistake I made that day was moving my head back." Hogan said. "I should’ve let her slap the piss out of me and sold the hell out of that and I should’ve went back like I was gonna hit her with the belt and have her slap me again and went down. I missed that whole spot man. Every time I see it I get mad about it.”

Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash will be reuniting for an nWo '2 Sweet' tour on October 27th and over the past few weeks WWE has been promoting the upcoming live special.
