It's a good time to be John Cena.
Not only did WWE experience to Summer of Cena with John Cena helping SummerSlam 2021 break records but his new movie on Hulu, vacation friends, has broken records for the streaming platform and has already secured a sequel.
Deadline reports that Vacation Friends has become the most the most-watched original film in its opening weekend on the streamer to date. "Honeymoon Friends," a sequel, will reunite the cast and producer, Todd Garner
In the movie, John Cena plays Ron, an eccentric man that likes to live life to the fullest. Ron, along with his girlfriend (played by Meredith Hagner) befriends a newly engaged couple and the movie follows the wild week the four friends have in Mexico and all of the fallout from the shenanigans that occur during that week.
Vacation Friends is currently streaming on Hulu.
