Humberto Carrillo walked away from Angel Garza.
The partnership between the Los Lotharios teammates was seemingly on thin ice after they lost to Nathan Frazer and Dragon Lee on the July 18 episode of WWE NXT. Carrillo argued with Garza and walked out on him after the bout.
During the July 25 episode of NXT, the broadcast played footage of the duo arguing backstage following the match. Carrillo told Garza to listen to him. He questioned whether they were chasing women or championship. Carrillo then said he wasn't doing "this" anymore. He told Garza to wake up, and he walked away. Garza called after him, but Carrillo kept walking.

Garza and Carrillo have competed on Raw and SmackDown throughout their time as a team. The real-life cousins wrestled sparingly on the main roster earlier in 2023. However, they have been appearing on NXT in recent months. Up to this point, their quest for the NXT Tag Team Championship has come up empty.
