The Hype Bros. Split Up On Smackdown

The Hype Bros. are finished.

It was Mojo Rawley that finally caused the split to go down. After a quick loss to the Bludgeon Brothers, Zack Ryder spoke to Dasha Fuentes in the ring. As he was explaining what happened, Rawley jumped him from behind and kept attacking him until Ryder was motionless.

When asked why he did what he did backstage, Mojo simply replied that the landscape had changed.

They have been teaming since June 2015 in NXT. Ryder forged an alliance with Rawley and continued to team up for a while until Rawley was called up in July of 2016 to be a part of the Smackdown roster.. They continued to team up on Smackdown and even became number one contenders for the tag team titles. But Ryder blew out his knee during that battle royal, putting him out of action for months.

Mojo Rawley continued on as a singles star, winning the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at this year's WrestleMania, but wasn't on TV much during the summer. Ryder returned to action in June, and the duo continued to team until tonight. Since Ryder's return, hey've been teasing a split in backstage interviews seen on WWE's YouTube page, clearly showing dissension.
