Ilja Dragunov Comments On The New Level’s AEW Debuts Catching His Attention

Ilja Dragunov has commented on The New Level’s AEW debuts catching his attention, especially how they performed in AEW.

On tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Ilja is currently set to face off with Speedball Mike Bailey in his in ring debut for the promotion after making his first appearance over the weekend at AEW WrestleDream. He is the latest former WWE talent to make the jump, with The New Level also making the jump at AEW All In, where their debut for the promotion would take place.

While speaking to SI The Takedown in a new interview, Ilja Dragunov would be asked if The New Level’s AEW debut caught his attention.

“I mean, it would be a lie if it wouldn’t, right? You see people perform in a way that they didn’t perform in a while anymore. I can tell, hopefully, or just feel, or can try to imagine a certain happiness if I watch them, what they’re doing, and just reconnecting with these people that you shared some time with. You can just tell that it’s definitely a new place and something they appreciate [being] a part of.”

Elsewhere in another recent interview, Dragunov spoke about a potential rematch with Kyle Fletcher. You can read more about that here.
