IMPACT Digital Media Championship Changes Hands At Wrestling REVOLVER Vegas Vacation

Matt Cardona now has one less title to carry around.

A number of weeks ago, Matt Cardona, Brian Myers, and Chelsea Green interrupted a Rich Swann and Willie Mack interview on IMPACT after just having been attacked by W. Morrissey. This encounter irked Swann, but he was pushed over the edge after Cardona continued to insult him. It was then that Swann set his sights on Cardona's Digital Media Championship.

After weeks of denying his challenges, Swann faced Cardona for the title at Wrestling REVOLVER's Vegas Vacation event on May 28. After a hard-fought battle, it was Swann who emerged victoriously, becoming the third ever IMPACT Digital Media Champion.

However, after the bell, Cardona refused to turn the title over to Swann, stating that it will always belong to him. He proceeded to hug the belt tight and ran to the back with it.

Cardona had held the belt for 114 days, having won the belt from Jodynne Grace on the February 3 episode of IMPACT.
