IMPACT Issues Statement On Action Figure Line, Says They're In Talks With Other Manufacturers

IMPACT's current action figure line won't be moving forward as initially planned.

IMPACT previously announced that they would be teaming up with Asylum for an action figure line. In an update, the company issued a statement in which they wrote that the action figures did not meet IMPACT's standards or the timeframe for release. As a result, IMPACT is in discussion with other action figure manufacturers.

The announcement noted that no IMPACT action figures from Asylum will be produced, and all pre-payments will be refunded in full.

Asylum responded by noting that they are a United States Distributor of the toy line that Epic Toys made.

From IMPACT:

IMPACT Wrestling regretfully announces that its scheduled action figures, made by Asylum, did not meet IMPACT standards nor the outlined timeframe for release.

Thus, IMPACT Wrestling is now in discussions with other action figure manufacturers for an upcoming release and no IMPACT Action Figures from Asylum will be produced.

All pre-payments for the IMPACT Action Figures made by Asylum will be refunded in full. Refunds will start being processed at the end of August.

Thank you for your understanding.

In a tweet, Asylum stated that the press release incorrectly stated that they were the manufacturer of the figures. Asylum apologized and explained that they were aware that the figures getting canceled was possible, but they were asked to hold off on issuing refunds until the cancelation was official.

Asylum wrote that they have issued all refunds for those who ordered from them.
