One of the new additions to the Impact Wrestling roster is going to miss a significant amount of time due to injury.

As first reported by PWInsider, Adam Thornstowe, one half of Reno Scum, recently had surgery to repair a torn bicep. Reno Scum also has made a handful of appearances for Ring of Honor, and made its Impact debut on the March 9 episode of TV.

In other news, the Impact World Championship will be defended at AAA's TripleMania 25 event on August 26. TripleMania is the biggest show of the year for AAA, which is one of the most prominent lucha libre promotions in Mexico.

The Impact World Title will be defended on the August 26th TripleMania 25 event. Impact and AAA held a joint press conference earlier this week in Monterrey, Mexico, revealing more details on their previously announced inter-promotional partnership. As part of their agreement, Bobby Lashley, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards all are set to appear at TripleMania. Impact and AAA also will hold co-branded live tours, which are set to begin this fall. In addition to Impact wrestlers appearing at TripleMania, AAA is expected to have a presence at the next Impact pay-per-view, Slammiversary, which takes place July 2.

Since Anthem Sports acquired majority ownership of the company and a new creative team took over led by promotion co-founder Jarrett, Impact has announced working relationships with AAA, as well as the Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Impact will hold its next round of TV tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando beginning Thursday, April 20, and running through Sunday, April 23.
