Here is your fight size update following IMPACT and ROH Wrestling on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Below are highlights from both Thursday night wrestling shows.

Report: Ronda Rousey Adapting Script For Biopic At Netflix

IMPACT Wrestling

- The December 21 episode of IMPACT on AXS was a recap show and awards were also given out for the best of the best in 2023.

- The recap portion of the evening kicked off with a look back at Josh Alexander defeating Bully Ray in a Full Metal Mayhem for the IMPACT World Championship at IMPACT Hard To Kill 2023.

- That was followed up with a look back at another match from the 2023 Hard to Kill event, Jordynne Grace vs Mickie James in a Title vs Career Match for the Knockouts World Championship.

- The award for Knockouts Tag Team of the Year was given to the reigning Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Killer Kelly & Masha Slamovich of MK Ultra.

- The men's equivalent of that award was given to ABC's Ace Austin & Chris Bey. Speaking of that duo, this episode took a look back at their Ultimate X IMPACT Tag Team Championship bout against Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin from the Rebellion event earlier this year.

- Steve Maclin defeating KUSHIDA from Rebellion was also replayed as was Deonna Purrazzo defeating Jordynne Grace for The Knockouts World Championship.

- ICYMI: Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz of the Rascalz have re-signed with TNA Wrestling.

- KiLynn King was the winner of the Year End Award for One to Watch in 2024.

- Trinity was the winner of The Knockout of the Year award. Fans can check out a full recap of the awards here.

- Next week, more awards will be given out and highlights will be shown of Will Ospreay in action.

Ring of Honor

- Athena turned back yet another challenger in another Proving Ground Match. This time, she defeated Maya World.

- Ross and Marshall Von Erich kicked off the show with a victory over The WorkHorsemen's JD Drake and Anthony Henry. After the match, Kevin Von Erich got to put the Iron Claw on one more victim one last time as Anthony Henry was on the receiving end of the legendary move.

- Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty have put the entire ROH roster on notice

- Taya Valkyrie defeated Vertvixen. Afterward, Johnny TV and his victorious Valkyrie bride had a message for Dalton Castle.

- Dalton Castle, by the way, was going through it on December 21 but he has promised to ruin Johnny TV and Taya Valkyrie.

- Tony Khan officially announced the Ring of Honor Women's TV Championship.

- Maria Kanellis is very excited about more opportunities coming to the women of Ring of Honor. However, she still has to earn the full trust of Rachel Ellering and Leyla Hirsch.

- In the final match of the evening, El Hijo del Vikingo & Komander defeated Gringo Loco & Jack Cartwheel.

- In other matches, Dante Martin picked up a singles victory. Action Andretti & Darius Martin, on the other hand, picked up a tag team victory.

- The Gates of Agony & The Righteous also picked up tag team victories on the December 21 show.
