IMPACT Slammiversary Announced For July, Former WWE Stars Teased

IMPACT will return to pay-per-view on July 18 with Slammiversary. 

At the conclusion of Tuesday's IMPACT a promo ran for Slammiversary featuring former TNA/IMPACT stars and recently released WWE stars Eric Young, Mike and Maria Bennett, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, Rockstar Spud (Drake Maverick), EC3.

A location for the event was not announced. 

As of now, none of the wrestlers shown in the video can sign with IMPACT as they have a 90-day non-compete clause. All wrestlers mentioned were released on April 15. Heath Slater stated in an interview with Wrestling INC that his non-complete clause ends on July 18 and Karl Anderson posted a countdown on social media that would also end on July 18. 

Technically, they would be free for IMPACT Slammiversary. 

Drake Maverick is set to compete in the final of the interim NXT Cruiserweight title tournament on Wednesday.
