Although Emergence ends tonight, next week's episode of IMPACT Wrestling will feature a number of matches, including a world title bout.
IMPACT announced that world champion Eddie Edwards will defend his title against Eric Young on September 1 after the two had been feuding for nearly two months. Young has been targeting Edwards and the title ever since Edwards won the vacant belt at Slammiversary in July.
Also announced for next week on IMPACT is a tag team match between the team of Madman Fulton & Ace Austin against The Rascalz as well as Sami Callihan vs. Rob Van Dam. Wrestle House also returns next week with a match between Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie.
Although not officially announced for next week, Rhino challenged Reno Scum to a tag team match next week on IMPACT and implores fans to request IMPACT management to bring in Heath as his tag team partner. Heath has been on IMPACT Wrestling in recent weeks campaigning to get signed by the company.
