IMPACT Wrestling Announces Date For Slammiversary

IMPACT Wrestling has confirmed the date for Slammiversary.

IMPACT announced that its annual Slammiversary event will take place on Saturday, July 17. Fightful Select reported in April the event would be held the weekend of July 15. The event will take place at Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.

Sanga Released By WWE

In the teaser for the show, recently released WWE superstars Samoa Joe, Chelsea Green, and Mickie James were shown. Footage of Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito from their stints in IMPACT was also shown.

The tagline for the event is "Our World Changes Again."

Joe, Mickie, and Chelsea were released by WWE on April 15. Their non-compete clauses expire on July 14. Last year when WWE made releases on April 15, IMPACT teased them showing up at Slammiversary as well.

Eric Young, EC3, Heath Slater, and The Good Brothers were part of Slammiversary 2020 with Brian Myers and Matt Cardona joining the company at a later date.

Fightful provides live coverage of IMPACT every Thursday beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
