There might be a former champ on his way back to TNA.
The Wrestling Observer reports that TNA has made a contract offer Magnus to return to the company. No offer has been formally accepted or announced, but the Observer says that both sides are "serious" about making these negotiations work.
Magnus, whose real name is Nick Aldis, originally started with TNA Impact Wrestling in 2008, and had reigns as Tag Champ as part of the British Invasion in 2009 and as TNA World Champ from December 2013 to April of 2014. He had memorable matches with AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle and Eric Young during his career there. He left the company in 2015.
Magnus is married to WWE Smackdown superstar Mickie James. James had expressed interest in perhaps trying to get her husband a WWE contract.
