IMPACT Wrestling Viewership For 7/21 Shows Slammiversary Boost; How It Compares To NXT And AEW

IMPACT Wrestling’s show following Slammiversary 2020 shows tremendous growth for the brand and a great showing on AXS TV.

Per a report from Wade Keller, IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, drew 163,000 viewers, up from 156,000 the week before and 135,000 the week before that.

Since Slammiversary on Sunday, IMPACT has gained Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, EC3, Heath Slater, the Motor City Machine Guns, and a new Knockouts Champion in Deonna Purrazzo. For the first three months of the year, IMPACT has averaged 147,000 viewers, so this is an upturn for the brand.

In the key 18-49 demo, IMPACT drew a 0.05 rating for the first time since February. NXT, by comparison, drew a 0.17 rating in the demo, AEW netted a 0.32 rating, nearly seven times the amount of IMPACT Wrestling.

Moving forward, IMPACT Wrestling looks to keep the momentum from the new superstars, champions, and the impending Wrestle House reality show.
